Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for an outpatient oncology clinic, focusing on medical oncology, chemotherapy infusion, hematology, and BMT pre- and post-transplant care for patients aged 18 and older. The role includes duties such as patient rooming, vital signs, medication reconciliation, and assisting with procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Room patients and perform vitals and review of systems
• Manage medication reconciliation and weight monitoring
• Process orders and prepare patients for infusions
• Conduct chart checks and set up for procedures
• Manage referrals and communicate necessary information
• Collaborate with department leadership and medical team

Requirements:

• Ambulatory Epic experience is required
• Minimum of 1.5 years nursing experience, with at least 1 year in current oncology practice
• BLS and ONS certification required; OCN preferred
• Experience as first assist and in various clinic procedures
• Clinic experience with proficiency in patient rooming, procedures, and chart management
• Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
• Registered Nurse licensed by the South Dakota Board of Nursing
