Job Description:

The Registered Nurse Med/Surg is responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care to patients undergoing general surgeries and vascular surgeries.
• Manage patient types requiring tracheotomy care, wound care, and IV skills.
• Documentation and medication administration.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5-6, depending on unit and patient needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 18 months experience in MedSurg and/or ICU.
• Cerner or EPIC experience required; if ICU experience only, Cerner is necessary.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Strong skills in wound care, chest tubes, and IV administration.
