Job Description:

The RN in the Med Surg – Neuro unit is responsible for providing attentive and compassionate care. This involves bedside shift reports and engaging patients and families in their care plans.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care on 3rd Neuro Med/Surg unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Perform tasks involving IVs, basic wound care, surgical drains, nasogastric and chest tubes
• Utilize equipment such as IV Pumps, Telemetry, PCA, and EKG machines
• Participate in documentation using Meditech system

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• Experience in Med/Surg and ability to prioritize care and multitask
