Shift: 12-hour nights including weekend rotation; must agree to be in the call rotation and take 1 call shift

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) Acute Care/Med-Surg Adult is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality nursing care to patients. The nurse will use their specialized knowledge and expertise related to critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care, utilizing the nursing process. Will require ACLS – AHA in order to provide Intermediate Care in CCU as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality nursing care to patients using the nursing process.
• Coordinate and evaluate patient care related to critical disease states.

Requirements:

• Current RN License to work in Colorado.
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS issued by the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care/Med Surge/Telemetry or similar RN experience required.
• At least 3 years of RN Med Surg experience.
• Flu Vaccination mandatory from October 1st through April 1 (must be from THIS flu season).
