Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to patients within a medical surgical unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical surgical unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness.
• Document patient care and adhere to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this travel position.
• Patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1.

Schedule

This position requires working night shifts with alternating weekends.
