Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Shift: Nights (7 PM – 7 AM with alternating weekends)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on the medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor patient health status and intervene as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system preferred.
• Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Patient-nurse ratio is 6:1.
