Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Inpatient Rehabilitation/Medical Surgical unit. This position involves providing exceptional patient care for adults and geriatrics with a variety of diagnoses, including Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, Amputee, Brain Injury, critical illness, and neurological diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s.

Shift Information

• Shift Type: Nights
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Unit Details

• Beds: 35
• Nurse to Patient Ratios: Days: 1:5 / Nights: 1:6
• Required Certifications: BLS Certification
• Common Patient Conditions: Adults and geriatrics with diverse medical conditions
• Charge Nurse: Present on each shift
• Nurse Aids/Patient Care Techs: Available at a ratio of 1:10-15
• Floating Requirements: May float to MedSurg

Scheduling and Requirements

• Scheduling: Cyclic self-scheduling with a requirement for every third weekend and a minimum of two holidays worked
• Orientation: Includes classroom training and two 12-hour shifts on the unit
• Additional Requirements: Candidates must comply with policies regarding fingernail hygiene and other protocols
