Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care to individuals recovering from surgery or various medical conditions.
• Conduct thorough assessments to develop appropriate nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families regarding patient care and treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients at all times.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a medical-surgical nursing role.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Location

This position is located in a critical access facility in City, State.

Schedule

This role requires flexibility, including the potential for night shifts and weekends, to provide optimal patient care.
