Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and skilled professionals to join our Birth Center team. This role involves providing exceptional care for our patients and their families, ensuring a safe and supportive environment during childbirth.

Contract Details

This position typically involves three shifts per week, with travel staff working up to 36 hours each week. The contract duration is 13 weeks, with the option to resign if the experience aligns well with personal and professional goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Birth Center.
• Assist with operations in Med Surg when there are no patients in the Birth Center.
• Participate in patient assessments, care planning, and intervention execution.
• Support families during the birthing process, offering education and resources as needed.

Qualifications

• Current certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) are required.
• STABLE certification is a bonus but not required.
• Previous experience in a Birth Center or related field is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Location

This position is located in a dynamic facility in the region with a steady increase in births, having recorded 126 last year.
