Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

Under the supervision of the nursing department management, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the nursing processes of assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation needed to deliver safe, evidence-based care within their scope of practice.

Shift Information

• 12-hour shifts, Days & Nights
• 36 hours/week with overtime available
• Self-scheduling with flexibility to accommodate team needs

Weekend Requirement

Candidates are required to work every other weekend and may also work every Saturday or every Sunday, ensuring that half of the weekend shifts are covered each month.

On-Call Requirement

Minimal on-call responsibility is required.

Holiday Requirement

Every other holiday is required, with holidays assigned and rotated annually.

Floating Requirements

RNs may be required to float to other units within their scope of practice as needed.

Desired Start Date

Immediate availability is preferred.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Nursing
• RN compact or Kansas license
• BLS certification required (ACLS & PALS can be obtained after hiring)
• Entry-level position; new graduates welcome
