Registered Nurse – Medical / Surgical

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical Float Pool. This role requires flexibility and the ability to float between medical floors and surgical/oncology units.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in medical and surgical settings.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-treatment care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience is required.
• Prior travel nursing experience is preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically Epic, is preferred.
• Ability to float between different nursing units as needed.

Location

This position is located in a medical facility within a city in the state.
