Labor and Delivery Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality care to expectant mothers and their newborns in a critical access setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Birth Center.
• Assist in monitoring and managing the labor process and delivery.
• Provide support to patients and families throughout the birthing experience.
• Participate in floating to Med Surg unit when patient care in the Birth Center is lessened.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required.
• STABLE certification is a plus but not mandatory.
• Prior experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is preferred.
• Ability to work 36 hours per week, including a 13-week contract commitment.
