Position Description

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Unit Information

• Unit Name: 5 WEST Ortho/Spine
• Number of Beds: 26
• Patient Ratios: 6:1
• Unit Staffing: Includes secretary, PCTs, and Navigator
• Type of Equipment: Coolers, walkers, SCDs, CPMs
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling Requirements: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Floating Policy: Rotation
• Patient Experience Requirements: 72%

Qualifications

• Licensure: Active RN License required
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant field is preferred
• Must Have Skills: Compassionate care and effective teamwork skills
• Advanced Skills: Experience with knee and hip replacements, multi-level spine surgeries

Certifications

Relevant certifications required for the position will need to be maintained as per unit guidelines.

Dress Code

Required uniform is navy scrubs.
