Job Description:

This role involves providing comprehensive care to post-operative patients in a fast-paced surgical unit, ensuring the efficient management and support of patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of post-operative surgical procedure sites
• Wound care including packing, dressing changes, and wound vac maintenance
• Foley Catheter care and continuous bladder irrigation
• Ostomy appliance change and maintenance
• Nasogastric Tube insertion and suction
• TPN and Blood Administration
• Central Line Care and dressing changes
• Bedside Shift Report

Requirements:

• Time Management and Efficiency
• Teamwork
• Required Certification: BLS
• Floating to Medical-Surgical Units as needed
