Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical unit is responsible for managing a diverse patient population, including neuro patients and others in need of surgical care. The RN will work night shifts, with responsibilities including direct patient care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care to neuro and medical/surgical patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and quality care delivery.
• Float to other medical/surgical units as needed.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of strong Medical/Surgical experience, EPIC Charting is required.
• Neuro experience is preferred.
• Current IL RN License, BLS, and NIHSS are mandatory.
• Availability for every other weekend, with holiday coverage as needed.
