Job Description:

The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments, and ability to work independently in completing assignments. Nursing duties include support to individuals of all ages and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Perform nursing care procedures based on physician’s orders and standards of care.
• Provide support to patients of all ages and their families.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of experience working as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility.
• A valid, current, full and unrestricted Nursing License to practice nursing in any U.S. state, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
• Must maintain current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be completed within 6 months of hire.
