Job Description:

RN needed for day shifts in a long-term care facility with a flexible shift pattern including 12-hour shifts from 7a-7p. An initial 13-week contract with potential for extension based on performance. The facility is licensed for 80 beds with a current capacity of 74 beds. The census includes skilled care, memory care on a secured unit, and long-term care across multiple floors.

Responsibilities:

• Check placement of wonder-guard every shift.
• Ensure wonder-guard is properly working once a day.
• Replace wonder-guard immediately if missing or not functioning, and inform the on-call nurse.

Requirements:

• Monitoring of wonder-guards is required and must be documented in resident TAR.
