Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Information

The position requires flexibility with varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. There is no guarantee of hours or shift preference.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a nursing role.
• Active General Certifications (BLS/BCLS) required.
• Candidates not currently possessing an active State of HI license must apply for licensure upon acceptance of the job offer. A valid Hawaii License is required by the start of the assignment.

Job Description

This role is within a long-term care facility located in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include:

• Performing patient assessments and treatments
• Administering medications
• Notifying the physician or nurse practitioner of pertinent patient information
• Assisting with patient admissions and discharges
• Providing assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Administering specialized care, including:
• Gastrostomy tube care
• Urinary catheter care
• Nebulized treatments
• Wound vac care
• CPAP care
• Tracheostomy care
• Performing other assigned duties as required

Holiday Coverage

Availability to cover shifts during holidays is required.
