Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) or Registered Nurses (RN) for a full-time position. The selected candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality care in a long-term care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize paper Medication Administration Records (MARS) and Treatment Administration Records (TARS).
• Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient care.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Work Schedule

The position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, with shifts from 6 AM to 2 PM. A 30-minute break is required during each shift. The position includes every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
• Experience with PCC charting is required.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Location

This position is available in various locations within the region, including nursing homes and long-term care facilities.

Contract Duration

Position is available for a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension.
