Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

City/State: Spearfish, South Dakota

Shift: 12 Hour Nights, 19:00-07:00

Contract Length: 12 to 3 weeks

Job Description:

The role involves providing care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns in a Level 2A nursery setting. Candidates should have experience in EFM interpretation, adult and neonatal assessment, and be comfortable with gyn-surgical and mastectomy post-op care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for laboring mothers, postpartum, antepartum patients, and newborns
• Assess and intervene based on continuous fetal monitoring
• Participate in unit support, including charge nurse roles and floating as needed

Requirements:

• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
• Completion of nursing education approved by a board of nursing
• Registered Nurse licensed by the South Dakota Board of Nursing
• Skills in EFM interpretation and adult and neonatal assessment
