Job Description:

The RN in Labor and Delivery will provide care to maternity patients, perform EFM interpretation, start IVs, and manage Magnesium Sulfate. Candidates will complete a sterile technique proficiency test at orientation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care to level II maternity patients down to 32 weeks gestation
• Interpret electronic fetal monitoring and perform SVE
• Start IVs and manage Magnesium Sulfate drips
• Titrate Pitocin drips as required

Requirements:

• Current BLS certification (AHA required)
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
• Experience in EFM interpretation and starting IVs
