Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Labor/Delivery unit will provide comprehensive care for high-risk laboring and delivery patients, including antepartum care, and circulate and recover C-Section patients. The role requires proficiency in vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and the ability to manage titrations of common drips. Floating to the Mother-Baby unit will be required as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Care for high-risk laboring and delivery patients.
• Circulate and recover C-Section patients.
• Float to Mother-Baby unit and take assignments as needed.
• Effectively read fetal monitor strips.
• Manage titration of Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin.

Requirements:

• BLS, ACLS, AFM, NRP certifications.
• Experience with Cerner charting system.
• Independence and confidence with high-risk patient management.
• Ability to float as needed and adjust to various care settings.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting fetal monitor strips.
