Job Description:

The RN – Labor & Delivery will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit. This role requires expertise in advanced fetal monitoring and the ability to perform critical procedures. The nurse will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Cervical exams, IUPC, and FSE placement
Vaginal deliveries and cesarean section assistance
IV starts with lab draws
Recover cesarean sections primarily with spinal anesthesia

Requirements:

2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience, preferably with travel contracts
Certifications required: AWHONN intermediate fetal heart monitoring, NRP, ACLS, BLS
Advanced skills in NRP, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring
