Job Description:

New LD Unit prefers L&D nurses with a strong NICU background or nurses coming from a Level 2 or higher nursery. Though the OB/L&D unit has a Level 1 nursery, nurses may need to provide care to Level 2 or higher newborns while awaiting transport to a higher level of care. Occasional care for unstable newborns may be required until transport is available.
