Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Postpartum unit provides care to postpartum patients, including management of post-partum hemorrhage, breastfeeding support, and patient education. The role involves working in a close-knit team to deliver patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform POC Glucose monitoring
• Provide breastfeeding support
• Manage post-partum hemorrhages
• Assist with circumcision procedures
• Assess and manage hypertension

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-year current acute care Postpartum hospital experience
• BLS & NRP certification
• High risk post-partum experience preferred
• Level 2 Nursery experience preferred
