Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse) – Labor/Delivery (L&D)

City/State: Oxnard, California

Shift: 12H Nights 7p-7a, EOW first to float

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: 08/03/2026

Job Description:

The RN in the Labor/Delivery unit is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in high-risk deliveries, managing emergency situations, and ensuring adherence to guidelines such as AWOHNN. Candidates should possess strong circulatory skills for C-sections and demonstrate proficiency in interacting with the Cerner charting system.

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to labor and delivery patients, including high-risk deliveries.
Collaborate with OB techs to assist in deliveries and C-sections.
Utilize Cerner for patient charting and documentation.
Float to postpartum or NICU to provide support as needed.

Requirements:

Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications.
2-3 years of experience in Labor/Delivery nursing; prior travel contract experience preferred.
Ability to circulate for C-sections.
COVID vaccine required.
