RN (Registered Nurse) – Labor/Delivery (L&D)

City/State: Silverdale, Washington

Shift: 12H Nights; Wknd Nights (Fri and Sat)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: 07/13/2026

Job Description:

This position involves providing nursing care in a Birthing Center/Mother Baby unit with responsibilities including attending deliveries, circulating in C-sections, and transitioning babies. Experience in LDRP and comfort with high-risk patient scenarios are essential.

Responsibilities:

Attend deliveries independently and circulate in C-sections
Assist with catching and transitioning babies
Manage postpartum duties and function in mother-baby competencies
Titrate drips such as Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin

Requirements:

RN with BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications; preference for intermediate or advanced FHM
2 years of applicable experience, with flexibility for 1 year if prior travel experience is substantial
Proficiency with Centricity-perinatal EFM System and EPIC charting
Experience with patient care in a high-risk environment, including scenarios such as preeclampsia, diabetes, and psych/social issues
