Obstetrics/Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Obstetrics/Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires flexibility as the candidate may be required to float to MedSurg or ER departments as needed.

Position Details

• Shift: Night shifts available
• Hours: 36-hour guaranteed weekly schedule
• Start Date: ASAP
• Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetrical patients and newborns.
• Monitor patients throughout labor and delivery, making critical assessments and interventions as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
• Float to MedSurg or ER departments as needed to support patient care efforts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Experience in Obstetrics and Labor & Delivery preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to float to different departments when required.
