Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor & Delivery team. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional care to patients during the childbirth process. The successful candidate will work the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and develop care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Monitor and document fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
• Assist in the labor and delivery process, providing support to patients and families.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients regarding childbirth and postnatal care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• Certification in Fetal Monitoring.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery preferred.

Work Environment

This role is situated in a high-volume setting, with approximately 240 births per month. There will be no floating to other departments, allowing you to focus solely on Labor & Delivery.
