• Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2
• Type of Equipment: Baxter Pumps, Phillips electronic fetal monitoring
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Cerner, Fetal ink

Job Overview

The Labor and Delivery unit is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns. Nurses will work in a collaborative environment, ensuring safe and efficient delivery while addressing the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
• Perform assessments and evaluations of maternal and neonatal health.
• Assist in various procedures, including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-Hyst.
• Administer medication and monitor patient vitals using advanced technology.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Experience in handling high-risk pregnancies and immediate newborn care.
• Preferred circulating experience.

Certifications Required

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
