Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. This registered nurse position plays a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients during labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers and newborns.

Unit Information

Unit: Labor and Delivery

• Number of Beds: 16
• Staffing: 120 staff members
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2
• Equipment: Baxter Pumps, Phillips electronic fetal monitoring
• EMR: Cerner, Fetal ink

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Experience in high-risk scenarios
• Proficient in immediate newborn care

Preferred Skills

• Circulating experience

Procedures Performed

• Vaginal Deliveries
• Cesarean Sections
• D&C
• Cerclage
• C-Hyst

Personality Fit

• Outgoing

• Adaptable

Required Certifications

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• BLS/ALS (Basic Life Support/Advanced Life Support)
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring

Work Schedule

Weekends are not required but may be available upon approval.
