Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery unit is responsible for providing nursing care to patients in the Family Birth Center, including high risk deliveries. The unit accommodates 19 postpartum beds, 12 L&D beds, 2 operating rooms, and 1 PACU.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to patients in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and NICU as needed.
• Participate in floor-specific orientation and ensure all competencies are met.
• Assist with circulating in the OR if necessary, although this is not a requirement.
• Collaborate with healthcare team for comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

• Must have 2 years of L&D Charge or L&D Nurse Manager experience.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced Fetal Monitoring.
• Pass proctored Dysrhythmia Test on site.
• Current RN license.
