Job Description:

The RN in Labor and Delivery is responsible for providing direct care in a busy unit with high patient turnover. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support the mother and infant throughout labor and delivery, implementing advanced clinical practices and fostering positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cervical exams and monitor fetal status with appropriate interventions
• Assist with and circulate during vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Initiate IV starts and manage lab draws
• Provide post-operative care in recovery units

Requirements:

• 2+ years of L&D experience, with prior travel contracts preferred
• Certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN intermediate fetal heart monitoring
• Experience with procedures such as cervical exams, IUPC and FSE placement
