Shift: 19:00-07:00, 12H Nights, 4 weekend shifts per schedule; first to float; must work 2 of 3 major holidays

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The RN in the Labor and Delivery unit will provide care for laboring or preterm pregnant patients. Responsibilities include circulating and recovering C-sections and following AWHONN guidelines & ratios. Experience with C-sections and computer charting, preferably Cerner, is required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for laboring or preterm pregnant patients
• Circulate and recover C-sections confidently
• Titrate Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate as per protocol
• Float to MB/PP as needed

Requirements:

• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam with 80% (maximum 2 attempts)
• Experience with C-sections and computer charting
