Job Description:
Registered Nurse position in the Labor & Delivery unit, responsible for providing comprehensive care in a Birthing Center, including labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Responsibilities:
- Attend deliveries independently and circulate in c-sections
- Assist with catching and transitioning babies
- Titrate drips such as Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin
- Collaborate with OB/Neonatologist and anesthesia team available 24/7
- Work within a block scheduling system and adhere to weekend and holiday rotation requirements
Requirements:
- Must have LDRP experience
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required; FHM preferred
- 2 years of experience preferred; 1 year with prior travel experience considered
- Comfortable with reading tele monitor strips
- Ability to function in postpartum with mom and baby competencies
