Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse), Labor/Delivery (L&D)

Shift: 12H Days, Days, EOW

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The RN in Labor/Delivery (L&D) will provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns, assisting in labor and delivery, postpartum, and mother-baby care. The role includes rotating between L&D, postpartum, mother-baby units, and providing assistance to other units as needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide care in LDRP setting, including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
Circulate in the OR for C-sections and provide couplet care.
Float between L&D, postpartum, mother-baby units, and assist other units as needed.
Administer and titrate medications such as pitocin.
Perform and interpret fetal monitoring using GE and OBIX systems.
Participate in call or standby requirements per policy.

Requirements:

Active RN license.
Certifications in ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring.
Experience in LDRP care and ability to circulate in OR.
Ability to float between specified units and comply with weekend and call requirements.
