Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

City/State: Spokane, Washington

Shift: 12H Nights, 19:00-07:00

Contract Length: 21 weeks

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Labor & Delivery unit. The role involves caring for high risk and low risk ante-partum and intra-partum pregnant women, immediate postpartum care, normal newborn stabilization, and couplet care. Will follow AWHONN guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Care for high risk and low risk ante-partum, intra-partum pregnant women.
Provide immediate postpartum care and stabilization of normal newborns.
Support couplet care with a patient ratio of 1:1 for high risk and normally 1:2.
Float to Postpartum and NICU for level 2 newborns when required.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years experience required.
Licensure: BLS, NRP, EFM required; BLS and CST for surgical scrub.
Skills in IUPC, FSE, IV starts, and circulating C-sections.
Experience with EMR: EPIC and equipment such as Baxter IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and fetal monitoring systems.
