Job Description:

The RN in the Postpartum unit is responsible for providing care to mothers and their newborns, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing perineal care. Educating parents on newborn care, safety, and bonding are key aspects of the role.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring vital signs and administering medications
• Managing perineal care
• Educating parents on newborn care, safety, and bonding

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Postpartum/Mother-Baby experience
• BLS & NRP certifications
• Experience in a Mother/Baby Unit preferred
• Flexibility with schedule
• Ability to adapt quickly to new situations
