Shift: Nights – 4x12s – Every 3rd weekend, first to float, holidays as needed

Job Description:

The RN in the Labor/Delivery unit will be responsible for providing care to patients who are over 35 weeks in labor as well as supporting mom/baby couplets. This role requires the ability to titrate drips such as Magnesium, Oxytocin, and others as specified, and work closely with postpartum care including the administration of medications like Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen. The RN will also assist with neonatal respiratory equipment and float as needed to MSP/ED for helping hands.

Responsibilities:

• Titrate antepartum/labor and postpartum drips
• Provide 1:1-2 labor and 1:2-3 postpartum patient care
• Float to other departments for patient sitting as required
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

• 2 years experience in Labor/Delivery
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
• Ability to pass fit testing for respiratory protection
• License to practice as a Registered Nurse
