Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery provides comprehensive care to patients in labor and delivery, postpartum, and antepartum stages, as well as care for newborns and infants under 28 days old. The RN will work with a team in a Level 2A Nursery with a focus on monitoring and supporting maternal and neonatal health, utilizing centralized fetal monitoring and the Epic charting system.

Responsibilities:

Care for laboring patients with a 1:2 ratio
Manage couplets with a 1:3-4 ratio
Provide support in gynecological surgical recovery and post-operative care as needed

Requirements:

Valid RN license from the South Dakota Board of Nursing
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Experience with EFM interpretation and intervention and adult and neonatal assessment skills
