Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery will provide care to high-risk and low-risk ante-partum, intra-partum pregnant women, as well as immediate postpartum, stabilization of normal newborns, and couplet care.

Responsibilities:

Care for high-risk and low-risk ante-partum, intra-partum, postpartum patients, and stabilize normal newborns.
Perform IV starts, circulate C-sections, and monitor via IUPC, FSE.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, NICU, and charge nurses.
Adhere to AWHONN guidelines and maintain accurate records in EPIC.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; open to first-time travelers.
Licensure and Certifications: BLS, NRP, EFM, and Surgical Scrub (BLS, CST).
Competency in telemmetry monitoring and use of Baxter IV pumps, Pyxis, and GE/Centricity fetal monitoring systems.
