Job Description:

The RN in the ICU will be responsible for providing critical care to patients in both the ICU and stepdown units. The role requires floating between these departments as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Care for cardiac patients post CABG or PCI, sepsis, DKA, respiratory failure
• Titrate medications such as Levophed, amiodarone, and propofol
• Monitor patient status utilizing bedside monitors and monitor bank
• Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, and respiratory therapists

Requirements:

• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience in Critical Care
• Ability to work weekends as required
• License to submit
