Job Title: Registered Nurse ICU Mixed Acuity

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the ICU provides care to mixed acuity patients including intermediate care and non-vented ICU level patients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage patients with neurological and post procedural needs, including EVDs, continuous EEG, and neuro/spine surgery.
• Provide care for patients with conditions such as respiratory failure, CHF, hypotension, sepsis, AMS, acute neurological diagnoses, DKA, and electrolyte abnormalities.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required.
• Valid ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Skills in managing bipap/cpap, interpreting cardiac rhythms, CVP monitoring, and handling post-surgical drains and titratable drips.
