Job Description:
The role involves providing specialized care in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at Wesley Medical Center, utilizing critical care equipment such as balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia machines. The unit supports 26 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2.
Responsibilities:
- Care for patients using equipment such as balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia machines
- Assist in heart catheterizations and cardioversion procedures
- Administer central lines and medication drips
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification
- Preferred: Prior Meditech experience and prior experience traveling to large facility ICU units
