Job Description:

This position involves providing total care for ICU patients, including managing ventilators, titratable drips, and patient hygiene. Floating to ER and Med Surg departments is required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for ICU patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2-3
• Float to ER, assisting with call lights, medication pass, transport, IV starts, and blood draws
• Float to Med Surg, managing up to 6 patients or functioning as an aide with 12 patients

Requirements:

• 2+ years of ICU experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ER & Med Surg experience preferred
• Experience with ventilators, titratable drips, mixing medications, and patient hygiene preferred
• TNCC preferred
• Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers
