Job Description:

The RN in the ICU is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with various critical conditions. This includes direct patient assessment, implementing care plans, and ensuring patient safety through vigilant monitoring and adherence to established protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer care to patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, and myocardial infarction
• Titrate medications and manage drips including vasopressors and sedatives
• Float to PCU and Medsurg as needed, with provided training

Requirements:

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years preferred ICU experience
• Experience with drips, vents, and bipaps
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred experience in travel nursing
