ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a neurology-focused intensive care unit. The ideal candidate will possess advanced nursing skills and be prepared to handle complex neurological cases.

Unit Information

• Unit Name: J4-NSICU
• Number of Beds: 12
• Patient Ratios: 1:2
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Required Equipment: Baxter pumps
• Staffing Support: Unit secretaries and tech availability
• Scheduling Requirements: Self-scheduling with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per period
• Floating Policy: Travelers float first to other ICUs or to step-down units

Qualifications

• Must Have:
  • ACLS certification
  • BLS certification
  • ICU experience
• Advanced Skills Required:
  • Care of neurological post-thrombectomy and TPA patients
  • Post-neurosurgery patient care
• Procedures Performed on Unit:
  • CRRT
  • Bedside EVDs
  • A-line monitoring

Uniform Guidelines

The required uniform for this position is navy blue attire.
