Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care to critically ill patients and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Schedule

Varied shifts will be from 1845 to 0715, working primarily nights.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Provide education and support to patients and their families

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Intensive Care Unit
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Preferred certification: Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN)

Additional Information

This role requires the flexibility to work during major holidays, including Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day, as well as one minor holiday, which may include the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.
