ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Gulfport, MS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and a commitment to providing high-quality care to patients in the intensive care unit.

Scheduled Details

• 40 hours per week
• 10-hour shifts
• Shift hours: 0730 – 1730

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care processes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Mississippi RN license.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an ICU RN in a hospital setting.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to float to other units as needed.
• Willingness to work 4 weekend shifts per month.
• Availability to work every other holiday.

Orientation

Orientation sessions are held every other Monday. Credentials are due the Monday prior to the start date.
