ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Description

Join our dynamic team as an ICU Registered Nurse, providing critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Unit Information

  • Number of Beds: 30
  • Number of Staff: 82
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1
  • Equipment: CRRT, IABP, Impella (not mandatory for contracts)
  • EMR: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile

Skills Required:

  • ICU experience with ventilator management and cardiovascular drips

Preferred Skills:

  • Neuro experience

Typical Procedures Performed

  • Thoracentesis
  • Arterial line and central line placement

Required Certifications

  • ACLS
  • BLS

Additional Information

  • Floating Area: IMU
  • Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
  • Weekend Requirements: 4 weekend shifts per schedule; no on-call duties
